According to ZeniMax Media, Oculus, the Facebook owned company has stolen the technology, and covered up the evidence, destroying them.
The lawsuit was made in 2014 year, and will cost 2 billion dollars to the losing company. The process will take place in Dallas.
The main question is who made the technology inside the Oculus Rift.
Mark Zuckerberg has to testify this Tuesday. From the other side his own point of view on the problem will give the ex-head of id Software John Carmack. Also, there will be expert opinions and tech workers.
ZeniMax sued the Facebook’ Oculus in 2014, accusing them in the use of their technologies. The company has officially stated that Carmack made special technologies to the VR Oculus Rift. Oculus has answered that it is a lie, and they can disprove all claims.
ZeniMax has said that Oculus head Palmer Luckey stole employees and technologies from them. These technologies belonged to Zeni Max and cost them years of work and millions of dollars.
Oculus who was bought by Facebook has denied the accusations, saying that the lawsuit is just a trick to receive big money right after Zuckerberg has bought Oculus Rift.
